When I try to login, it says I have been banned. What do I do?


There are several security features in place to protect your account.

If you try and fail to login too many times, your account will be locked for up to an hour. In this case, please wait until the suspension has been lifted to login.

If there has been suspicious activity, sometimes you'll be banned for an extended period (as long as several months). In this case, there is nothing to do but wait. Unfortunately, sometimes an entire sub-network, such as an entire school or college, will be banned. Fortunately, these cases are rare.

And sometimes an individual account will be suspended or deleted if the owner of that account violates the terms of use. In the case of a suspension, it will likely be lifted as soon as we get a chance to investigate and the suspected violation is either removed or deemed not a violation. In the case of a deletion, there is no way to re-activate the account.
